Project description:
The technician will help the PhD and postdoc employed in this project to set up the SynCom consisting of nitrifying and denitrifying microbes, heterotrophic bacteria, and fungi. Key aspects of this position will be the cultivation of diverse microorganisms, and preparation of the matrix components for the synthetic soil. Furthermore, the technician will support the project via analytics of nitrogen compounds and qPCR analyses.
