Project description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our renowned research team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent skills in environmental trace pollutant behavior and analysis, along with a keen interest in expanding their knowledge in microbiology. Specifically, we are investigating the interaction and effects of particulate pollutants, including tire and brake wear and their additives on the human lung and gut microbiome. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to new scientific knowledge and make a significant impact. Requirements are a strong background in Analytical or Environmental Chemistry, preferably in Plastics, Plastics Additives, Nanomaterials, Tire/Brake Wear, proficiency in Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS and/or ICP-MS), motivated, organized, and responsible individual who excels in a dynamic international environment, ability to collaborate closely with another postdoc studying the impact on environmental and human microbiomes.
