Project description:
The Campbell laboratory at CeMM, the Research Center for Molecular Medicine of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna, is recruiting a highly motivated Technical Assistant to join an international team of scientists working in the field of mucosal immunology / microbiome research.
Our team is looking for a passionate scientist to join as Technical Assistant to support our ongoing projects by maintaining our regular and germ-free (GF) mouse colonies and assisting with ex vivo and in vivo experiments.
The successful candidate will become an expert in genetic mouse models, infection models and GF animal husbandry. They will also receive the appropriate training to isolate intestinal immune cells and prepare samples for microbiome sequence. In addition, the new group member will participate of individual and group meetings to discuss project directions and career development.
