Project description:

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a background in immunology and host-microbe interactions to develop the project above. The postdoc will carry out research and coordinate the collaborative efforts of this ambitious multidisciplinary project. This position will be hosted by the Campbell lab (CeMM) and co-supervised by Andreas Bergthaler (CeMM/MedUni) via joint weekly lab meetings. The candidate should be proficient in executing mouse models of infection (bacterial, viral or helminthic), flow cytometry and genotyping.  Previous experience with gnotobiotics and/or neuroimmunology is desirable but not required. Microbiome analyses will be carried out by the JMF and in close collaboration with the Martin Polz group (UniWien). Behavioral tests will executed by the VBC facility and data analysis performed in collaboration with the Isabella Wagner group (UniWien).
