Project description:
This Technician position supports the users of the Life Science Compute Cluster. This includes technical maintenance tasks and user support:
• Planning, installation and administration of servers, compute nodes and storage systems
• Planning, installation and administration of network infrastructure
• Administration of user accounts
• Installation and update of bioinformatic applications and databases
• Administration of high-performance computing clusters
• Monitoring and reporting
• IT security
