Project description:
We are searching for two technical assistants to support the scientific work of the Cluster of Excellence in the JMF. The candidates will support scientific activities in the CoE, by performing DNA/RNA extractions, amplicon sequencing workflows, genomic and transcriptomic sequencing library preparation, and Illumina and Nanopore sequencing of samples generated in all CoE work packages which require microbiome sequencing. Our workflows are semi-automated and standardized, so interest in and experience in working with Laboratory Automation is advantageous.
