Michael Wagner Receives William Mong Distinguished Lecture Award from the University of Hong Kong

Michael Wagner has been honored with the prestigious William Mong Distinguished Lecture award by the University of Hong Kong.

CoE Director of Research Michael Wagner with colleagues from the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Engineering where he delivered the William Mong Distinguished Lecture.

In his award lecture titled “Seeing is understanding: Next generation chemical imaging for super-fast functional analyses of microbiomes”, Michael Wagner showcased the latest advancements from his research group in chemical imaging. He demonstrated how these high-resolution technologies can enhance our understanding of interactions between gut microbes and medications.

The William Mong Distinguished Lecture Award recognizes outstanding scientists for their groundbreaking contributions to their field.
