CoE Board of Directors Member Leonid Sazanov receives Erwin Schrödinger Award

CoE Key Researcher and Member of the Board of Directors Leonid Sazanov receives highest award by the Austrian Academy of Sciences.

CoE Key Researcher and Member of the CoE Board of Directors Leonid Sazanov heads a research group on structural biology at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) and is honored “for his outstanding achievements in the field of structural biology of membrane protein complexes.” with the Erwin Schrödinger Award, awarded by the Austrian Academy of Sciences.

Within the CoE, Leonid is actively involved in Method Facility 8, where he and his team join forces with the Djinovic-Carugo lab at the University of Vienna. Together, they provide all CoE members with access to state-of-the-art structural biology techniques and equipment.
