Management of the CoE
The Cluster of Excellence (CoE) Microplanet brings together a highly interdisciplinary team of scientists from eight leading research institutions with diverse expertise in environmental and host-associated microbiomes, and cutting-edge methods. With this CoE, we envision firmly establishing Austria as a leading location for microbiome research at a top international level.
In the CoE, we underpin excellent research with a slim management structure to ensure effective and efficient resource use. The CoE’s management facilitates the implementation of the scientific objectives, communicates transparently, flexibly, and responsively, manages the day-to-day operations of the large consortium, and provides an optimal and fair working environment for all CoE members.
